| We warned her that our tile floor isn't as soft as what Gabby Douglas had in London but that didn't stop her from practicing this dismount over and over. We're a little desperate for entertainment so we let some things go here that we probably wouldn't allow back home :) |
Does the rain make it any cooler?
ReplyDeleteSomewhat. It is cooler now that rainy season is under way compared to our first couple of weeks here. We're told it will return to that sweltering heat & humidity again around March. Then it's probably in the 90's with 90% humidity. Now it's probably 80's with high humidity every day (I don't see any thermometers around). Most days even capris are too hot - I almost always wear skirts or shorts and the rest of the family are always in shorts and t-shirts/tank tops.
ReplyDeleteThis evening we had a rain shower and it actually felt cool - first time since arriving that I actually put on a light jacket to walk around town...a nice feeling! Still wondering when we'll use the jeans/pants we packed!
