Thank you to those that prayed for us today!! This afternoon we met with Anna, the director, and the other two 1st - 5th grade teachers. We had a chance to share what we've been feeling in our transition into the school and to apologize for letting our frustrations cause us to say or do some things that discouraged the teachers. Everybody was able to talk open and honestly about what has happened these last few weeks and we ended the time in prayer.
We know we're all here because we want to help El Puente provide a Christ-centered education to kids in Quepos. Although we have different backgrounds and 'norms' of education, we are committed to working together as a unified team. We recognize, too, that this team includes you, our spiritual and financial supporters. There's no way we would have made it through these first two months without your tremendous support. So, tonight we thank God for you once again and we praise Him for new beginnings.
