We seemed to find every narrow, winding back road of Costa Rica today so we got home about three hours later than what we thought. However, we are very grateful for the wonderful week we've had on the road and that the $5 patch job on the flat tire made it OK all the way back to Quepos.
| The slower roads allowed us to see some beautiful countryside and lots of cattle grazing. |
Zarcero and Sarchí are two small picturesque towns we passed through:
| Zarcero's main plaza is very unique: it's lined with huge topiary bushes |
| No surprise :).....The girls were much more interested in the dog in Sarchi's plaza than with the touristy ox cart and pretty cathedral |
| An hour from Quepos in the town of Jacó, the kids were THRILLED to be able to have their first Pizza Hut pizza in nearly 6 months. It was a great way to end a great week. |
