In celebration of the kids' birthdays (Angelina is 11 today!), we celebrated at an American-style restaurant geared to tourists. It was the first time we had done that in Quepos with the five of us so we all enjoyed the special treat of feasting on delicious burgers, steak salad and chicken fingers. After we finished our meal, I asked our waitress if there's any birthday specials or treats and she responded, "I'll check with the manager." A few minutes later she returned with a yummy brownie ice-cream sundae that all three kids eagerly devoured.

| We walked down to the waterfront and then walked down the pedestrian path that lines the water for a couple of blocks to the restaurant. |

| The weekly market sets up along the water front every Friday night and Saturday. After dinner, we walked back there under the moonlight for a couple of items and will return tomorrow for our weekly produce. |
