Quepos is located on the Pacific Coast, about 15 minutes from one of the most visited national parks in Costa Rica called Manuel Antonio. Just outside the national park entrance there's a free beach that we decided to check out for today. It's very easy & economical (50 cents each) to get there on a public bus.

| We found out how strong the Costa Rican sun is....it was overcast, we had 30 sunblock on, we left right after lunch and we still got burned! |

| Manuel Antonio National Park is well-known for its jungle-like setting along the coast. We hope to visit the park but it will cost our family $50.00 to enter so we decided to wait and just enjoy the free beach right outside the entrance for today. |
So glad you could enjoy the beach and down time as a family as you transition! Praying the transition goes well.
