After a terrific summer break, we faced the reality of having to set an alarm this morning. That was a little painful but we had a great day back at El Puente. We welcome a new teacher, Laly, to staff. Does she sound familiar? Yes, she's from our church and was the same person who organized the amazing Kids Camp we went to a couple of weeks ago. She's busy with her commitments at church with the children's ministry but is able to teach first block at El Puente. Nathan and Angelina are thrilled that they get to start the day with her for Spanish and Social Studies.
We are also excited that El Puente welcomes 9 new students this year!! That means we're really tight on space and at times George and I will have to take turns having a class outside because there's not enough classroom space inside. But, praise the Lord that El Puente is growing!!
