February 24: Service, Snorkeling, Sunset

After attending the once-a-month English service at our church this morning and spending a relaxing few hours at home, George and I were thrilled to take up his brother Pete's offer to take our kids snorkeling so we could go out for dinner together.  It's only the second time in 8 months that we've gone out with the two of us so we really appreciated Pete's willingness to do this!

Ready for an adventure with Uncle Pete.
We bussed to Ronny's Place, an open air restaurant that overlooks the ocean, and both enjoyed delicious mahi mahi fish for dinner.

Yeah for no kids :)
This sailboat was docked in the bay when we arrived and later we watched the sails go up one by one as it sailed away.

As we watched the sunset we were visited by four toucans who flew into the nearby trees.

  1. Awesome! The sailboat looks almost translucent, like a ghost ship.

  2. Yeah! Thanks Pete for this special treat. Much needed. I think my stress % went below 27 after that. :) It was neat to watch that ship lift each sail in turn and start to move off. Some kind of special sailboat no doubt.
